A specialty synthetic elastomer offering high resistance to elevated temperatures and mineral oils, particularly for oil-exposed environments.
ACM is a polyacrylate-based synthetic rubber produced by the copolymerization of acrylic ester monomers. Although its mechanical strength may be lower than that of NBR, it performs effectively at elevated temperatures and in environments involving contact with additive-containing oils. In addition to good resistance to ozone and ageing, ACM provides high resistance to engine and transmission oils. These properties make it particularly suitable for gaskets, seals and various sealing components in automotive applications.
