HNBR is produced by hydrogenating and largely saturating the carbon-carbon double bonds present in the molecular structure of NBR. This structural modification improves resistance to heat, ozone and oxidative ageing while enhancing mechanical and abrasion properties. HNBR is particularly suitable for engine systems, gaskets, seals and technical applications requiring high performance.
