PA6 is a polyamide-based thermoplastic produced through the polymerization of caprolactam. The amide groups in its molecular structure provide high strength and abrasion resistance. Although its tendency to absorb moisture can affect its mechanical and dimensional properties, its lightweight and durable structure makes it suitable for bushings, fastening elements and various technical components in automotive, machinery and industrial applications.
